Glynis Anderson has been appointed General Manager of the Events Division of the Thebe Exhibitions and Events Group.

 Previously the Meetings Africa project manager, Anderson took up her new position on 1 March 2008. 

 The new position entails growing the group’s events division, overseeing new exhibitions and maintaining the current management contracts on existing events.

 “I can’t wait to grab hold of the many opportunities that are out there,” she says, “and deliver the best service to the client, in true Thebe tradition!”

 The position of Meetings Africa project manager will be taken up on 1 April 2008 by Corné Koch, who is well known in the business tourism industry.
