DO NOT MISS FEDHASA INLAND ROADSHOW
<< Back to News
Members of the hospitality industry should not miss the one-day conferences that will be held by the Federated Hospitality Association of Southern Africa' (FEDHASA's) inland region in February.

On 4 February the industry - hoteliers, restaurateurs, suppliers and the like will gather at the Emnotweni Sun Hotel in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, on 7 February at Golden Leopard Resorts in the Pilanesberg National Park, North West and on 12 February at Bolivia Lodge near Polokwane in the Limpopo province.

Sunil Menon, Chairman of FEDHASA Inland says the aim of this roadshow is for industry members to share their experiences and knowledge and to receive an update from FEDHASA on various issues that currently affect the industry. "Our industry is dynamic and the business environment often unpredictable and complicated. These conferences will help industry members to make sense of the clutter of messages that reaches them every day and to make informed business decisions."

Speakers will include industry expert Peter Cumberlege who will give an update on legislative matters that affect hospitality businesses and Arlene Wilson-Max of the Tourism Empowerment Council of South Africa on BEE and transformation in the hospitality industry.

Other speakers will represent the Tourism Enterprise Programme, Absa, the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa, the SABC, BnB Sure and Hospitality Industries Underwriting Consultants.

FEDHASA Inland Executive Officer Nikki Akanbi says the roadshow will give owners and managers fresh information to take back to their businesses. "It will also give them the opportunity to compare notes, so to speak, to see whether their industry colleagues - even competitors - have the same questions and encounter the same challenges."

The cost of a one-day conference is R150 for FEDHASA members and R200 for non-members.

For more information or to book, phone FEDHASA Inland on 0861 333 4272 or e-mail them on admin@fedhasa.co.za.
