The latest results of the Tourism Intelligence International February 2008 German Market Survey “How Germans will travel 2015” shows a clear preference for key destinations.
German tour operators were asked in which top ten 10 countries they expect double-digit growth for their company in the next 7 years. India, South Africa, Vietnam, Ecuador and Peru are the clear winners.
Asked why these countries will experience double-digit growth for the German market in the next 7 years, tour operators indicated, for example, that “wildlife, world cup and wine” will drive growth to South Africa together with activities such as safaris, nature, sun, sand and sea, town trips and sports in general as well as effective marketing.
