Key Priorities
Our Strategic Direction
     

Following a very successful strategic planning session, the board felt that many of the essential pieces of the puzzle required for the growth of Tourism had been institutionalized, in skills and training, in marketing the country, in grading, and other key areas.

The key priorities as identified each year, therefore, acknowledge the importance of ongoing relationships, whilst identifying other challenges affecting the industry.

Each year, the Board of the TBCSA identifies key priorities for attention.

The Tourism Business Council's work in 2007 continue to focus on the five strategic pillars identified :

  • The Voice of the industry;
  • Transformation of the industry;
  • Improvement of visitor and tourist experience;
  • Promoting an enabling business environment;
  • Tourism branding and marketing.
